Animal Science welcomes new staff member
During January 2007 Nothemba Silwana joined the Dept. of Animal Sciences as Technical Assistant in the Nutrition Laboratory. She specializes in Gas Chromatography analysis, such as Cholesterol and Fatty Acid analysis on meat and feed samples.

Nothemba obtained her National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology at the end of 2005. She is currently busy with her B. Tech degree in Analytical Chemistry.
