Dr Willem H. Hoffmann


Dr Willem Hoffmann het in 2007 by die Universiteit van Stellenbosch aangesluit as lektor in landbou-ekonomie en hier sy PhD in 2010 behaal. Hy het voorheen as ekonoom en uitbreidingsbeampte vir die Wes-Kaapse Departement van Landbou gewerk. Hy spesialiseer in die gebied van plaasbestuur, finansiële bestuur en beplanning van boerdery ondernemings.

Dr Hoffmann was betrokke by 'n verskeidenheid van projekte en ondersoeke sedert hy by die Universiteit van Stellenbosch aangesluit het, insluitende 'n studie oor die Suid-Afrikaans koring-na-brood waardeketting en die ekonomiese bydra van canola as wisselbougewas in verskillende wisselboustelsels. Dr Hoffmann doseer plaasbestuur op voorgraadse vlak, waar gefokus word op die finansiële beplanning en bestuur van komplekse boerderystelsels, asook op nagraadse vlak waar die fokus na langtermynbeplanning verskuif.
