Bursaries are available for the following degrees:
Two bursaries of R 15 000 are available annually to B.Sc.(Hons.) students
with either Zoology, Entomology, Botany or a closely related field (e.g.
Conservation Biology) as majors.
Closing date for 2006 bursaries: 31st October

The M.Sc. (R 35 000 p.a.) and Ph.D. (R 45 000 p.a.) bursaries are supervisor
linked. Projects and bursaries are funded from January to December for
the years indicated. More information about individual projects and the
availability of bursaries can be obtained from the respective project
leaders, or through the programme Research Coordinator.

A bursary to the value of R 35 000 per annum is available to students
pursuing an M.Phil. in Science and Technology Journalism. The bursary
is available for two years from 2006 to 2007 and is directly linked to
the M.Phil. course offered by the Department of Journalism at the University
of Stellenbosch.
