Members of the Invasive Alien Species (IAS) Indicator team were involved in the compilation of data for the IAS indicator to contribute towards an assessment of the global effort to achieve the 2010 Biodiversity target by using 30 indicators of biodiversity change. This synthesis showed that the rate of biodiversity loss has not been significantly reduced and the results of this study were published in Science magazine.
