Join the BEd Honours (Language Education) Programme

In 2009 the Department of Curriculum Studies offered the honours programme BEd(Hons) Specialization in Language Education for the first time. Five students were brave enough to face the lecturers in Afrikaans and English for modules in Literacy Remediation, Literacy Leadership, Multilingual Education, Creative Writing as well as advanced modules in English and Afrikaans Curriculum Studies. We hope to increase our intake for 2010 to strengthen language teaching in our shcools and beyond.
