| The following information is given as a guide for exchange
rates and is current as of October 2006. These will be updated periodically
but conference participants are responsible for establishing correct
exchanges rates when they register. |

| Conference fees cover the following for all
conference participants: |
- Conference Ice-breaker at the
Sasol Art Museum
- Mid-conference fieldtrip
to the Cape Peninsula, including admission to Groot Constantia
Manor House, the Cape Point Reserve and lunch at Cape Point. Note
that dinner in the city is not included.
- Conference Dinner at Blauwklippen

| For participants registering for the scientific
symposiums, conference fees also cover: |
- One year's registration fees
for the International Association of Geochemistry (if participants
are already members this will be put towards the following year's
registration fees)
- All scientific sessions, lunches, morning and afternoon teas
- Conference bag, printed abstract volume, abstract CD and printed
conference program
- Printed field guide for the mid-conference field trip

| For participants registering for the accompanying
members program conference fees also cover: |
- Visit to Robben Island
- Tour of Cape Town, including a visit to the African
market in Greenmarket Square
- Tour of the Kistenbosch National Botanical Gardens
- Walking tour of Table Mountain including cable
car tickets
- Iziko Slave Lodge and District Six Museums
- Full day visit to Aquila Private Game Reserve
to see the big five including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo
and rhinoceros if this option is selected
- Lunches on these day

| The following items are also included in conference
fees for all participants (scientific or accompaying) but must be
booked on your registration form: |

| The conference is able to offer limited financial assistance to certain people who wish to attend the AIG7 conference. Assistance is in the form of a waiver of the registration fees and does not cover accommodation or travel costs. To apply for financial assistance, applicants should complete the form below and send directly to the the AIG7 organisers along with an abbreviated copy of their CV and a copy of their intended abstract. Correct formatting of the abstract can be done at a later stage. Note that the application deadline has been extended until the 15th of February. |

We have now been able to secure credit card payment facilities for AIG7 participants. This facility has been added to the bottom of the registration system and can be accessed using your email and registration ID. There is only a R5 processing fee associated with using the credit card facility. Note that some users of this system from overseas have had problems with their home bank rejecting the payment because of concerns regarding fraud. If this happens you will receive a "Do not honour (05)" error message. If this happens please let me know on jmiller@sun.ac.za

It is also possible to pay by requesting an invoice also using the registration system. Note that a request for an invoice with normally take 10 working days to process. |

an official invoice to arrange payment should indicate so on the registration system. Official receipts will be provided
at registration for the conference once full payment of conference registration fees has been confirmed. Receipts will only be issued
earlier if specifically requested. |
