Fees Structures
A variable fee structure is in effect
    • R 100 per hour for University of Stellenbosch Faculty of Health Sciences Staff and Students
    • R 240 per hour for other Academic Institutes and Private Clients
    • R 300 per hour for Assisted Use
Rates apply to acquisition/sorting time. Analysis of data on the PC is not charged. However, please note that Investigators acquiring samples on a flow cytometer have priority over persons using the PC for data analyses.

New and complex experiments which may require assistance must be scheduled, with the Manager, at least one week in advance.

We encourage the use of fixed specimens for analysis. Live, non-fixed human or non-human primate infectious specimens cannot be sorted in the Unit. All studies of infectious materials must be discussed with the Manager prior to the experimental date and the Principal Investigator must complete and return the Sample Information Form (SIF).
