Flow Cytometers
- The FACSCaliburs are capable of analyzing cells stained with
up to four distinct fluorescent probes (typically, FITC, PE, Cy5PE or PerCP, and
APC). Two of the FACSCaliburs are equipped with 96-well autosamplers that allows
users to automatically analyze up to 96 samples without intervention.
The FACSCaliburs are streamlined, user-friendly instruments and can be learned quite easily in a two-hour training course that is required for new users who wish to operate the instruments. Christo Muller and John Michie train and assist all users. They are available to assist Researchers in the development of protocols for the preparation of samples and flow cytometric assays. It is required that all sample preparation be performed at the Researcher's own facility, unless otherwise arranged with Christo or John.
