Two year part-time accredited Advanced Certificate in Education Programmes at Stellenbosch University offers non-graduate teachers the opportunity to improve their qualifications and teaching abilities.

These accredited programmes focus on upgrading the subject knowledge and didactical skills of serving teachers.

The programme is managed by IMSTUS and the teaching is done jointly by IMSTUS, academic staff members of the Faculties of Science and Education at the University of Stellenbosch (US). The programmes are presented in English and Afrikaans, provided that sufficient interest (usually a minimum of 20) is received.

Accredited Short Courses are offered to teachers who need to aquire new knowledge or update their knowledge on specific topics in Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
