This is the red ball's formula!
Do the balls move together?
If not, try again!

Can you find the formula modelling the movement of the blue ball? Where is the blue ball at time t = 10?

In this case the ball covers increasing distances every second. The second difference is constant - check!
The formula is quadratic, of the form x(t) = x0 + v0t + at2, where x0 is the start position at time t = 0, v0 is the initial speed at time t = 0, and a is an acceleration parameter.

To check your solution, type your formula in the input box (make sure to use * for multiplcation) and click "Check".
This will control the red ball, which should then have exactly the same motion as the blue ball!

Where is the blue ball at time t = 10?

Experiment! Can you make the red ball go slower? can you make it move from right to left?
