To study at Stellenbosch University based on the new national curriculum for the Further Education and Training Phase, you are required to:

• Have obtained a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi
• Have achieved an aggregate of at least 4 (50 - 59%) in four subjects designated for university study
• Have written out of Stellenbosch University's Access Tests (ATs) those specified for the program(mes) you wish to apply for
• Have achieved an aggregate of at least 55% for the ATs and NSC combined in a ratio of 40:60
