School-based prevention interventions to enhance safe sex behaviour among adolescents: A meta-analysis

The objectives of this study are to locate and describe studies evaluating school-based HIV/AIDS behavioural interventions on condom use and postponement of sexual intercourse amongst high school adolescents; to summarise the efficacy of these interventions to increase condom use and postpone sexual intercourse amongst adolescents, and to stratify the results by geographical region, characteristics of the interventions and participants. Research collaborators are Ms. Wanjiru Mukoma and Prof. Alan Flisher.
