MA/MSc Thesis Support Group

"I found the support group helped me to keep on track in order to finish within the time frame I had set out at the beginning of the year. In many cases, problems raised by other students were ones similar to the ones I was experiencing and we were able to discus how they could be resolved. Other questions that I hadn’t thought to ask but were applicable to me also came up. It was also helpful to hear that others were also struggling with similar issues to me. This made it seem somehow more manageable that it was a common experience! "

"As I new student from a different university, the support group was invaluable to me - not only was I able to pace myself and share frustrations, but I was also able to meet fellow students and familiarise myself with the set-up at Stellenbosch. This process would've taken a lot more time and energy if I had to figure it out alone! "
