Ms Elna Theron, lecturer in the Department of Psychology, retired
at the end of March. She joined the Department in March 1977 after
working as a researcher at the Human Sciences Research Council in
Pretoria. She was responsible for the undergraduate and postgraduate
modules in Social Psychology. Her main areas of research focused on
conflict, aggression and violence, and multicultural aspects of diversity.
She collaborated on several international research projects on aggression
and violence, for example, with Prof Martin Ramirez of Complutense
University in Spain. |
