An internal conference on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning was held at SU on 22 and 23 May 2007. The conference had the aim of offering SU lecturers the opportunity to share their thoughts, experiences, good practices and research around the theme. Two international speakers also delivered papers and there was a prize for the best US presentation.

Given the success of the conference, it was decided that this edition of TM@SU would be used to publish the conference contributions, so that they are widely available. We thank everyone who made their contributions available to us for this purpose.

All the articles in this edition are placed in the language in which they were received.
