AE centenionalis, Flavius Magnus Decentius, AD 351 - 353

   

Flavius Magnus Decentius, the brother of Magnentius, was appointed Caesar to minimise the German threat. However, his forces were too weak to aid Magnentius, he was defeated and shortly after the death of his brother, Decentius also committed suicide.

Rev. Votive reverse type - two Victories standing, holding shield inscribed VOT. V. MVLT. X., VICT. DD. NN. AVG. ET CAES.
