Location of Departments

The various departments of the Faculty are currently accommodated in the Arts Building, the Wilcocks Building, the H.B. Thom Theatre Complex, the Conservatoire, the Building for Creative Arts, and even the Natural Sciences Building.

The Arts Building, completed in 1980, houses the majority of the departments, the dean's office as well as Humarga (a 24 hour computer centre for students). With 26 lecture halls, 4 electronic classrooms, a sound studio, a number of departmental and interdepartmental reading rooms, cozy nooks inside and out where students can sit down for a chat or a read, three spacious commonrooms for staff members and some two hundred offices, the Arts Building is a major meeting place for students in the Faculty of Arts.
