Welcoming / Meet & Greet Session

A welcoming / meet & greet session will take place on Monday, 8 April 2014, at Wallenberg Centre @ STIAS from 16:00 - 18:00. Delegates are welcome to register at the registration desk. Refreshments will be served free of charge. Delegates can also register daily (during conference hours) at the registration desk from 9 - 10 April 2014.

Poster Sessions

The poster sessions will take place on Wednesday (9 April 2014) and Thursday (10 April 2014). Setting up/mounting of posters will take place during the day on Tuesday (8 April 2014). Posters will be displayed during the entire Conference at the STIAS Conference Centre. Removing/dismounting of poster must take place on Friday morning (11 April 2014).

Student Fees

If you wish to claim the student fee, please submit a copy of your student identification card or its equivalent and a letter of recommendation by a senior scientist with your conference application.

Conference Banquet

The Conference Banquet will take place at a wine estate (venue to be confirmed later) on Thursday, 10 April 2014, 19:00 - 23:00. Cost will be R500 per person. Bookings and payment must please be made before 1 March 2014. Transport will be available from the Polymer Science Building, departing 18:00 (included in the the banquet cost). Delegates will be dropped at their various accommodation venues on return.

Conference Cancellation Policy

Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:

• Registrations cancelled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 80% of the registration fees.

• Registrations cancelled less than 60 but more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.

• Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
