French Internships

The French Government, through the French Embassy in South Africa, selects each year an intern at Master's level at a French University to come and teach within the French section. Each intern spends 9 months in our department and is involved in all aspects of teaching, marking and administrative duties. Each French intern has to write an internship report for his/her home university in order to receive his/her final degree; he/she is also expected to write a report for our department about his/her experience at Stellenbosch University.

The following French interns joined our teaching team in the past :
Ms Clémence Sublet (2005) - University of Nancy
Ms Sarah Drici (2006) - University of Paris-Saint-Denis
Mr Sébastien Roger (2007) - University of Angers
Ms Maud Marcinkowski (2008) - University of Toulouse, Le Mirail
Ms Emmanuelle Robardet (3 Feb - 31 Oct 2010) - Université de Bretagne Occidentale

In 2003, Ms Louison Dumaine (University of Paris V - René Descartes) did a self-financed 3 month-internship in our Department.

The French section is grateful for their contribution.

Reports by French interns:

Sébastien Roger (2007)
Maud Marcincowski (2008)
