Dr Peter H. J. Dietsche
 

Peter Dietsche is Assistant Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Theory and Policy Studies and the William G. Davis Chair in Community College Leadership at OISE/UT. He is also and adjunct professor with the Community College Leadership program of Central Michigan University and contributes as a senior scholar to the Educational Policy Institute, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Prof Ian Scott
Ian Scott is director of the Academic Development Programme (ADP) and Deputy Dean of the Centre for Higher Education Development at the University of Cape Town. A UCT graduate in English and Latin, his interest in educational development arose from teaching at high schools in Cape Town in the 1970's, followed by seven years in educational publishing in a number of Southern African countries.
He joined UCT in 1984 as lecturer and director of the Academic Support Programme, which later became the ADP, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1990 and Professor in 2005. He has served on numerous task teams and undertaken research for various national higher education bodies. His research and development interests centre on equity and effectiveness in learning and teaching in higher education, with particular reference to policy development and comparative models of widening participation.
