Ethics and Social Justice Issues in the Wine Industry in the Western Cape, South Africa
The ethical challenges inherent in the wine industry of the Western Cape was the focus of this, our first symposium held on 20 October 2005. Three broad themes emerged from the contributions by members of the industry, local government and NGO’s. These were the question of social and distributive justice, concern about the value of the natural world, and issues of ethical business practice in the industry.
