Training Workshop
The Unit offers a two-day ‘on the job’ workshop in Environmental Ethics, relevant to public management, private business, as well as civil society organisations.
The purpose of the workshop is to develop the capacity of managers and decision makers who have to deal with the complexities of environmental decision-making, and who must consider a variety of interest groups and stakeholders in their activities.
The workshop addresses the following:
- What is ethics?
- Analysing moral problems and making moral decisions
- The nature of environmental ethics
- Environmental ethics in the professional domain
