The University of Stellenbosch
Research funding has been received from the
University of Stellenbosch's Sub-committee A, specifically for a
project researching the use of Virtual Reality and Computer Based
Training for the improved interpretation, retention and
application of Geographic Information. The current research,
Phase one, is focused on the improvement of map reading in the
South African National Defence Force. This research is being
conducted in association with the School of Armour, Bloemfontein.
