Strand and Gordon’s Bay are suburbs of Cape Town, situated on the shore of False Bay. The distance is around 30-35 km from Stellenbosch. The accommodation of the same category is usually cheaper here (and often very attractive due to the close beaches), but it would be necessary to rent a car for everyday transport to Stellenbosch (see a link at the end of this page).
