Lecturer from Wuppertal
Mr Tobias Ringeisen, lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Wuppertal University in Germany, spent some time at Stellenbosch during March and April, collecting data for his doctoral research. He also presented a seminar on internet surveys to staff and students.
 
Staff appointments and promotions
Dr Johann Meyer, senior lecturer in the Department of Pschology has been promoted to associate professor, while Ms Ronelle Carolissen (part-time lecturer) has been appointed as lecturer. Additionally, Mr Desmond Painter, from Rhodes University, has been appointed as lecturer in Social Psychology and Ms Khanyi Mzimkulu from Student Counselling at Cape Technikon as lecturer in Health Psychology.
