| Together with academic programmes and community mobilisation, research  is one of the foundational pillars of the Africa Centre. The centre aims to  conduct research with respect to HIV and AIDS in the workplace and publish the  findings in appropriate media.  The following topics of research projects from graduated MPhil students  are an excellent example of the groundbreaking nature of the research that is  done:

The diverse range of sectors of society covered in these theses is a  clear indication of the widespread impact of the Africa Centre and its  students.
