The
Africa Centre for HIV/AIDS Management at Stellenbosch
University marked its fourth annual World Aids
Day with a gala concert at the Artscape Theatre
in Cape Town on 1 December 2008. The World Aids
Day concert was again directed and produced by
the Centre’s Director of Educational Theatre and
Creative Arts, Prof Jimmie Earl Perry. From left

The centre’s objectives are to: |
- offer postgraduate teaching programmes on the management of HIV/AIDS
- conduct research with respect to HIV/AIDS in the workplace
- develop and implement community service projects related to the management of
HIV/AIDS
- make available expertise in the field of HIV/AIDS in the workplace

After the overwhelming success of the first Artists
for AIDS Awareness concert that took place on 1 June,
the second concert on 31 August was even more successful.
It raised the bar and as many concert goers said:
