Financial Support

 

 

IUPAC will be given financial support to African students to attend the UNESCO/IUPAC Conference on Macromolecules & Materials to be held at The Boardwalk International Convention Center (ICC), Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

This support will cover the registration fees of those supported.

Application details:

  1. This opportunity is for African scientists studying in Africa.

  2. Applicants wishing to attend must submit an application to Aneli Fourie (aef2@sun.ac.za) by 30 June 2015.

  3. Your application should include an application letter giving your reasons for wishing to attend the conference; a brief abstract of the research paper or poster you wish to present at the conference; a short CV (1 page) and a reference letter from your institution supporting you application.

  4. If supported by IUPAC, the applicant will be expected to give an oral or poster presentation at the conference.

  5. The decisions will be made by during July 2015, where after successful applicants will be contacted after this date.
